Safety Tips

  • Downed Lines
Never touch a downed power line. Stay away from downed power lines and anything downed lines may be touching.
  • Downed Line On A Vehicle
Always stay in your vehicle and wait for help. If you must get out because of fire or other danger, jump clear of the vehicle without touching it and the ground at the same time. Then hop with feet together or shuffle away.
  • Safe Distance
Keep at least 20 feet away from pole-to-pole lines at all times.
  • Look Up Above
Whether you're working or playing outdoors, always remember to look up and all around you.
